Inductors

Inductor:
Inductor or coil or choke or reactor ==> is a passive two-terminal electrical component that stores energy in a magnetic field by flowing current throw it,
It typically consists of an insulated wire wound into a coil around a core.

how it works?
when the current flowing through an inductor changes, the time-varying magnetic field induces an electromotive force called (e.m.f), this value increases
as we increase the current in the wire, this current has a direction which makes this magnetic field has one too, these directions have been described in
Fleming's Right-hand Rule which shows the direction of induced current when a conductor attached to a circuit moves in a magnetic field, & it can be used to determine
the direction of current in generator`s windings.
If the value of the current passing through the inductor increases or decreases as in the case of the alternating current, the value of the magnetic field that created by the current,
also changes or decreases. In this case, there is a voltage generated on the two sides of the induction that opposite the increasing & decreasing of the passing current through the inductors
and when increasing the amount of changing current that increases the amount of the opposite voltage that will make a change, and this property called "induction"

Applications:
Inductors are used extensively in analog circuits and signal processing. Applications range from the use of large inductors in power supplies, which in conjunction with filter
capacitors remove ripple which is a multiple of the mains frequency (or the switching frequency for switched-mode power supplies) from the direct current output, to the small
inductance of the ferrite bead or torus installed around a cable to prevent radio frequency interference from being transmitted down the wire.

Types of inductor :
Q factor.

Radio-frequency inductor.

Laminated-core inductor.

Ferrite-core inductor

Powdered-iron-core inductor

Toroidal-core inductor

Mutual inductance
